The BébéSounds® Portable Video and Sound Monitor can be operated entirely with batteries so you can freely move about the house and still be able to see and hear your baby. Now you don’t have to stay in one room if you want to watch and listen to your baby while she sleeps. With this monitor you have several options because both the camera and receiver can be operated either on AC power or with batteries. For example, when your baby is sleeping in the nursery, you can use the AC adapter for the camera thereby saving battery life. If you are going to be working in only one room when the baby is sleeping, you can also use an AC adapter to power your receiver. The camera takes 6 AA alkaline batteries while the monitor runs on 5 AA rechargeable batteries. 5 rechargeable batteries are included with the monitor.
